I know that I can't put DD-WRT or OpenWRT on it, but does anyone know of a replacement firmware for this thing? I'd like to try and salvage it if possible. Specifically I'm looking for a wait to turn up the RX/TX gain to get a greater range. accroding to the website it is named belkin play n600 hd dual band. there is another device with the same features but not fully the same labeled play n600 dual band. the only difference i see according to the box is is that the hd has 2 usb ports vs 1 usb port on the non hd. both have 4 internal antennas.
